Abstract

The article states that the future evolution of air law will remain dependant on developments in aeronautical technology and in the society that technology serves. Due to the impact of internationally prepared rules on domestic air law, it focuses on international air law. Regarding the public law, it considers The Convention on International Civil Aviation and Related Problems, international criminal law, the powers and duties of aircraft commanders and commercial rights in international air transport. Regarding private law, it focuses on liability for the international carriage of passengers, baggage and cargo, liability for damage caused by foreign aircraft to third parties on the surface, aerial collisions, liability of air traffic control agencies, a possible unified convention and international recognition of rights in aircraft.
