THE PLACE OF ROMAN LAW IN LEGAL EDUCATION

Abstract

In the Province of Quebec Roman law occupies an important place. However, most students of Canadian law today and those responsible for their legal education do not recognize the use of Roman law. The author goes on to describe the possible uses of Roman law in Canada and how universities can implement such curriculum.
