Abstract

Growth of Canada’s trade activity in maritime locations and increased demand in all areas connected to it require cooperation and common action among various factions of the population. This need has been fulfilled by two national organizations in particular: the Maritime Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Maritime Law Association. The purpose of this article is to report to the legal profession some significant developments that have occurred in these organizations during the past year.
