THE GROWING AMBIT OF THE COMMON LAW
Abstract
Post-war decisions of the English courts indicate the common law’s ability to respond to complex legal problems produced by social changes of the period. The author attempts to point out principal changes in the substantive law resulting from the creative expansion of the common law, and to reveal a modern outlook of the common law founded on an unquestioning acceptance of parliamentary supremacy and the political impartiality of judges. Keywords:
