THE PRACTICAL SIDE OF STATUTE MAKING

Authors

  • M J GORMAN

Abstract

This discussion is confined to the legislation of the Dominion and of the Province of Ontario. However, the author notes that the process of statute making should more or less be similar throughout the rest of the provinces in Canada. The article discusses the process of statute revision, the delay in issuing annual volumes of statutes, the lack of precision in the language used, and finally codification.
