LAW AND TECHNOLOGY A TECHNOLOGICAL BILL OF RIGHTS
Abstract
This article assesses the relationship between the legal system and technology, while emphasizing the controls and dangers of distortion by technology as a counterweight to the supremacy of technological innovation. It asks whether the presently formed legal system is capable of assessing the products and by-products of technological growth and its impacts on society. Considering the difficulty of placing legal limits on technological growth, the authors recommend new definitions for rights and obligations in society, and a reallocation of resources available to the legal profession. Keywords:
