Abstract

This paper discusses the intrinsic worth of English decisions and the influence of these decisions in Canadian law (in particular Ontario). A distinctive feature of English law is that while in Europe the decisions of the English court are not binding upon other courts, in England and the United States (including Canada) the decisions of the courts are given great weight.
