Abstract
In this article the author examines several acts passed by the British Parliament, the Dominion Government, and the provincial legislatures of Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia, and discusses what such statutes have accomplished in terms of acting as incentives for people to choose Canada as a home, or to choose Canada as a profitable location of investment.Keywords:
