BROTHERS IN LAW AND LIBERTY
AbstractA transcript of the address delivered by Leonard W. Brockington at the Annual Dinner of the American Bar Association on September 12, 1940. As a representative of the Canadian legal profession, Mr. Brockington paid tribute to the American tradition of freedom. He noted the absence of any representative of the English Bar, and spoke of the proud legacy of England as a role model for Canada. He alluded to the war in Europe, and expressed confidence that British and North American freedoms would survive the conflict.
