Abstract

This address is largely concerned with problems that confront counsel for defence when addressing the jury at criminal trials. The author makes reference to various books and reviews the jurisprudence that he finds particularly helpful in crafting an effective speech to the jury. He uses these resources to emphasize important aspects from the defence point of view.
