STATUTORY CONDITIONS IN INSURANCE POLICIES

Abstract

In this article the author discusses statutory insurance policies, particularly in regard to provisions of the standard form contract of automobile insurance and the standard form of fire insurance policy. The author describes these insurance policies as applied throughout the country, but focuses on Ontario legislation while discussing the consequences of recent insurance jurisprudence.
